To establish a complete case, you must discover the true motive behind the event. Fast travel to New Delsta and proceed into the Backstreets section near the save point. Use an information-gathering Path Action such as Inquire, Scrutinize, Coerce, or Bribe on the Dour Elderly Woman to obtain the record titled A Killer's Motive.
Presenting the Evidence and Claiming Rewards
Return to the court building in Timberrain with both the physical weapon and the motive record in your possession. Speak to the Spectator inside the courtroom to submit your findings and officially solve the case. Successfully resolving this mystery rewards you with 30,000 leaves, a Fortifying Nut (L), and a Magic Nut (L).
